What JPG to PDF does and does not do
Each image becomes one page. JPEG and PNG are embedded as they are; WebP is converted first. HEIC from recent iPhones is not supported yet. Images are scaled to fit the page, never cropped, so nothing is lost — but very large photos will make a large PDF. Up to 500 images per conversion.
Private by design
SailPDF builds the PDF in your browser. Your images are never sent to a server.
Questions
How do I convert JPG to PDF?
Drop your images in, drag them into order, choose a page size, and press Create PDF. Each image becomes one page.
Is it free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no limit on how many times you use it.
Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG and WebP. HEIC photos from recent iPhones are not supported yet — export them as JPG first.
Will the images be cropped?
No. Images are scaled to fit inside the page, so the whole image is kept. If the aspect ratios differ from the sheet, you get white margins instead of a crop.
What is “fit to image”?
Each page becomes exactly the size of its image, with no white margins. Useful for screenshots and scans you want to keep at their original proportions.
Can I reorder the pages?
Yes. Drag the thumbnails before converting; the PDF follows that order.
Is there a size limit?
Up to 500 images per conversion. The practical limit is your device memory, and very large photos produce a large PDF.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, so the images never leave your device.
